Review
This isn’t my first time reading Firelight (Firelight #1) by Sophie Jordan. I read it a couple months after it came out in September 2010 and man did it blow me away. Which is the same way I felt about it this time around.
The concept of people turning into dragons was new to me; however, according to my husband, this happens quite a bit in sci-fi and fantasy books. I was so happy to have a respite from the vampires, wolves, angels, faeries – I think you get what I mean – that I told everyone I know about this book.
However, it was just this change of pace that pulled me in. Sophie Jordan can write quite the teen romance novel. Her characters are complex and full of emotion. The love triangles are twisted and, oh so tantalizing. the world she creates, this world of Draki, is so alive, so real, it makes you feel like you’re really there.
What I’ll tell my friends? If you’re in need of a change of pace, if you love a good love story, if you’re a lover of fantasy, this is your book. Pick it up today and while you’re at it, get Vanish too cause it’s just as good as Firelight.

Very cool. I see the Kindle edition is only $7.19; I’ll have to download a sample and see if I like it.
Nice review!
